Peace, Love & My Original Carseat

I know that these pics may look like a bit of a flashback but I promise that there is a funny story that goes with the rewind. So this is my original car seat, you know the one Mommy & Daddy brought me home from the hospital in! Somewhere around the eight month mark I outgrew it and since then Mommy has been using it as a prop to display the baby blankets she makes. When Daddy pulled it out for the Aggie Moms Boutique last weekend (the 17th & 18th) Mommy noticed that it had gotten pretty grimmy sitting uncovered in the garage, so on Monday she washed it.

All week I've been trying to get into it... I've climbed boxes to try and get in it, I also pulled it down off the boxes it was on top of and tried to get in it. Today all my trials paid off when Mommy pulled it down to put the cover back on and finally conceeded to letting me get in it. This wouldn't be a big deal if I hadn't told Mommy "Seat, truck" after getting in and then attempted to strap myself in. I would have succeeded if there had been a litte bit more slack in the straps!

My first time to ever be strapped into a carseat.

Ready to leave the hospital & take my first ride in the truck!

Today... is this a carseat or a jungle gym?

Trying to buckle myself in (even though Mommy let out all the slack I still couldn't fit my shoulder in to the chest part or buckle the straps around my legs).

Smiling for the camera!

Ever since I let her snap these shots Mommy keeps saying "it really puts into perspective how much you've grown". I'm seven weeks from being two.... have I really changed that much???

Peace, love & my original carseat,
Bailey
