Peace, Love & The Indian Lakes Easter Egg Hunt

Today turned out fantastic even though I woke up this morning feeling a little bit under the weather. I knew that today was the Easter egg hunt in Grandma & Grandaddy's neighborhood so I was super excited to get another chance to search for the plastic eggs with fun prizes inside.

Before we could go to the Easter egg hunt I had to try on another one of my new hats, along with one of the adorable tank-tops that Grandma got me for this summer.

When Mommy brought out the camera I started acting shy and hid behind Daddy's leg. Thankfully my Mommy is pretty patient when it comes to getting a good photo!

Of course not every photo Mommy captures is perfect!

Me giving Izzy a hug... she is always in need of lots of loving!

Izzy laying down getting loving from Daddy - check out the expression on my face... priceless!

Me & Mommy at Clovis Park in the Indian Lakes subdivision, headed to where they hid the Easter eggs!

Searching around the playground for some Easter eggs. Mommy and Daddy tried to point some out for me but everytime they did another kid would pick it up before I could get there, even if it was just at my feet.... these kiddos were quick!

Me & my silly faces - I think I was trying a gummy candy from one of my eggs but I could be wrong.

Getting my face painted for the first time ever! They didn't really paint my face, they painted a foam stamp and then stamped my face but the outcome was the same I guess.

Me & my pink and purple butterfly stamp!
If only Mommy & Daddy had known how hard it would be to get the butterfly off of my face when they took this picture!!

Mommy & Grandaddy talking with me climbing the bars in the background (it looks like I'm doing it myself but don't worry Grandma was right there behind the tree).

Me climbing on the playset.

Having a blast running around on the playset.

Daddy & I tried our hand at the egg toss but we cracked the egg pretty quickly so we had an impromtu learning opportunity instead. Here Daddy is explaining the different parts of the egg and I'm looking intently at the yellow goo that he is saying could have been a chicken.

Trying to climb up the firemans pole.

A close-up that Grandaddy caught as I ran by him.

Looking over at Grandaddy while trying to get Grandma to follow me through the playset.

Getting ready to go across the swinging bridge.

Playing with Grandma on the bars.

Asking Grandma for some more water by signing "more".

Checking out one of the Easter eggs from my basket when I got back to Grandma & Grandaddy's house.

I had a great time at the 1st Annual Indian Lakes Easter Egg Hunt but I think I'm going to have to practice before next year. These kids were serious about finding the most Easter eggs and they were too quick for me! Guess we will have to wait and see how it all goes down next year!

Peace, love & the Indian Lakes Easter egg hunt,
Bailey

Bailey-kins! You are too precious in your sweet little Easter-colored outfit! I love the pics of you and Izzy too -- wish my pup would let me hug on him like that!
