Peace, Love & Bluebonnets

Mommy got an email the other day from one of the professors from her PhD program and he mentioned that he & his wife had gone to White Hall, a town outside of Navasota, and that the bluebonnets were spectacular. Since we hadn't taken our annual pictures in the bluebonnets in College Station we decided to venture out to White Hall and take our pictures there. Dr. Witt was 100% accurate about the bluebonnets in White Hall, there were fields upon fields full of nothing but bluebonnets. It was a beautiful sight which only could have been improved if I hadn't had a massive allergy attack in the middle of it!

Me in the first field of bluebonnets & indian paintbrush. This field was right next to the White Hall city sign.

Me standing in the flowers (notice the church in the back left corner, it was picture perfect).

Sitting & smiling in the indian paintbrush (just prior to the beginning of my allergy attack).

Stopping to smell the flowers and pick up one of the Easter eggs Daddy hid.

A look across the field.

A closer look at the church behind the field of flowers.

Me & Mommy in the field of flowers (I stopped wanting to have my picture taken by myself as my allergy attack picked up steam).

Me with the indian paintbrush that Mommy stuck behind my ear.

Giving Mommy kisses.

The super goofy picture of Daddy that I helped Mommy take.

Family picture in the bluebonnets.

Me with my Easter basket & a golden Easter egg.

A close up of me, my Easter basket & my Easter egg.

Trying to figure out where to step so I don't hurt the pretty flowers.

The White Hall city sign.

The second field of bluebonnets that we stopped at (notice there is another field behind the field we stopped in, there were bluebonnets everywhere).

Picking up my Easter rubber ducky from its hiding place in the bluebonnets.

Nothing but bluebonnets.

Searching for one of my rubber duckies.

Trying to potty in the great outdoors before we get back in the truck to go home.

Mommy carrying me back to the truck, thankfully there was no traffic on the road!

A clean diaper, some raisins & all strapped in to go home!

A field of bluebonnets we saw after we turned and headed back to highway 6.

After we got home it was time for dinner & I decided to sit an eat with horsey at my table, instead of eating at the big kids table with Mommy & Daddy.

We had a great adventure to White Hall today and I would highly suggest their bluebonnets to any one who is yet to venture out to enjoy the wildflowers. If you are in College Station its not that far of a drive and it is well worth it! Mommy, Daddy & I are definitely going to make White Hall our bluebonnet destination in the future.

Peace, love & bluebonnets,
Bailey
