Peace, Love & Retirement

Now you might be saying to yourself "Retirement... but she's so young?" And sadly the truth is that at fourteen months I have not retired much aside from clothing and diapers. Yesterday's retirement party was for Granddaddy Doc and his seven years of service with GIE. It is questionable however, as to who was really the life of the party.

This is me and Granddaddy heading for the festivities... who do you think is leading the way?

Here I am mingling with all of the party attendees. I simply strutted my stuff and everyone fell in love. Granddaddy got lots of compliments on how well behaved I was and there wasn't anyone who disagreed with his decision to retire after meeting me! It was really nice to hear all of the good things everyone said about Granddaddy and to be able to take part in this special day!

Had to ham it up for the camera a little bit... this is one of those face that rarely get captured so we just had to share.

After an hour and a half drive from College Station and two hours of partying I'm ready to get out of my dress but I had to pose for one last picture with Granddaddy. We topped of the day with a trip to Babies R' Us and then began the hour and a half drive back home. It was an early night for all (I went to bed at 6pm). In fact I was so worn out I didn't even want dinner. Tiring as it was I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
Peace, love and retirement,
Bailey
