Peace, Love & Daddy's Girl

Wanted to take a quick second to share some pics of me & my Daddy. Since Mommy loves playing the role of photographer there are tons of pictures of the two of us. Some of the pics were blog worthy but the events of the day were less than noteworthy so I've combined a couple of days pics into today's entry.

February 26th - Visiting Daddy at Fire Station #2

February 26th - Daddy'll do anything to make me smile!

March 6th - Trying on Easter dresses.

March 6th - Another dress & another viewpoint!

March 6th - Playing horsey!

March 13th - Resting after dancing with Daddy

March 13th - I found Daddy's belly button

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of me & Daddy. In case you hadn't figured it out I'm definitely a Daddy's Girl, Mommy says I've had him wrapped around my finger since day one, guess I'll have to take her word for that one.

Peace, love & daddy's girl,
Bailey

Peace, Love & Ketchup

I had to make a blog entry about my favorite food group - KETCHUP! I eat as much as I can of it whenever I see it on the table. Tonight we had some popcorn shrimp and out came the ketchup. I just couldn't help myself and apparently Mommy couldn't help but take some pictures. On a side note, we have discovered that a love of ketchup is genetic... I got it from my Daddy (Mommy says I get more like him everyday).

Ketchup Smiles

A look at the dinner on my plate - yes your eyes are seeing correct, I'm using my fork to scoop up ketchup so I can eat it plain!

Dinner is done and there is no food and no ketchup left in sight!

Close-up on the only left over ketchup!

The pictures certainly drive my love of ketchup home, don't they?!?

Peace, love & ketchup,
Bailey

Peace, Love & Sunburst Pageants

Mommy, Daddy & I were at the mall a couple weeks ago when we came across a flyer for a Beauty Pageant. It's not really something that Mommy and Daddy would normally be game for but it was relatively inexpensive and everyone is always telling them how pretty I am and what beautiful eyes I have so after an extensive amount of discussion they decided I could enter. Daddy had to work tonight so Grandma & Grandaddy accompained Mommy & I on our great adventure.

Sitting on Grandma's lap eating Chick-fil A for my pre-pageant dinner!

The flyer said to register at 6pm for a pageant that started at 7pm. Even after taking our time with dinner, we were ready well before the pageant was set to get started so I wandered through some stores with Grandma & Grandaddy. One store had really cool music so I entertained everyone by dancing!

Here is my first solo walk across the stage. While I walked, the announcer introduced us & said a couple fun facts. When Mommy & I walked off the stage I kept signing 'More' and pointing back to the stage. Then again who doesn't love a captive audience!

Here is a picture of my tiara, best eyes medal & my overall winner sash. I also got a trophy for being the overall winner in my age category.

Giving my best eyes medal a little smooch!

After the pageant and a quick clothes change in the food court (Mommy didn't want to get my Easter dress dirty) we went to the fire station to show Daddy what I had one. Aside from the medal for best eyes and the trophy, tiara & sash for overall winner, I also won entrance into the State Sunburst Pageant in Houston at the end of May. We aren't sure if we are going to participate in anymore pageants like this but as far as experiences go, I had a blast. Mommy and Daddy have always said that I am a "ham" and that I love having an audience... I guess this proves it (I even said 'Thank you' to the judges after I received my award)!

Peace, Love & Ducks

Today while Mommy went walking with Aunt Cindy, Daddy & I attempted to go fishing... but we spent most of our time feeding the duckies! Both were equally entertaining and I enjoyed having some time with Daddy all too myslef.

Chilling on the park bence while Daddy gets the our fishing rod prepared.

Taking a break from fishing to feed the duckies some stale cereal.

Feeding myself a little of the cereal for the duckies... good thing the duckies didn't mind sharing!

Me and my fishing pole chilling on the park bence waiting for the fish to bite.

"Here duckie have some cereal."

When we got home from Central Park it was dinner and bath time. After that Daddy and I discovered a new game using the mattress from my bed as a landing pad and Daddy as a ladder. We had a grand time until Mommy said she had to put sheets on the bed so I could go to sleep. Hope you enjoy the video of Daddy & my new game as much as we enjoyed making it!

Peace, love & duckies,
Bailey

Peace, Love & Kyle Field

Today Grandma & Grandaddy Doc took me to Kyle Field for the first time. There was a band contest that they thought would be fun plus who in their right mind would pass up a chance to the Texas Aggie Band up close and personal! Needless to say, I had a great time! Not only was I with my grandparents but it was a beautiful day, I was at Kyle Field surrounded by Aggies plus I got to hear the Aggie Band play in person (I've listened to the DVD but this was way better).

Me & Grandma taking in the great music.

Taking it all in.

Big smiles from me & Grandma - everyone has a good time at Kyle Field!

Outside the gates chasing the leaves.

Giving Grandma a break and pushing my own stroller.

Posing for a picture by the flowers next to G. Rolley & Kyle field.

I had a great time visiting Kyle Field for the first of what I'm sure will be many trips. I can't wait until I'm big enough to go to an actual football game & see the Aggie Band in action at halftime. What a fun experience! I'm starting to see why my parents love this school and wanted to call College Station home. I thought they were so silly to teach me the freshman wildcat, now I understand (maybe I'll get Mommy to take a video so you can see my wildcat)!

Peace, love & Kyle Field,
Bailey

Peace, Love & Videos... finally!

I know that in the past Mommy has had some issues getting the videos from Grandaddy's camera to load but there were no such delays when we tried loading the videos from Mommy's new camera. Lucky for you Mommy has caught some great shots lately.

Me & my jumping machine... hours and hours of enjoyment for everyone!

Proof that I can climb into my high chair - I know that there were doubters amoung you! I have to say that normally I don't get my foot caught... I had a bit of stage fright and got ahead of myself.

Hopefully this is just the beginning of the videos Mommy will post! There are so many fun things that I can't wait to show you... especially those of you who I don't get to see on a regular basis!

Peace, love & videos,
Bailey

Peace, Love & The Big Kid Slide

Daddy has been working really hard at the fire station and as a teacher at the fire field here in College Station but since he was home this morning and there wasn't anything pressing to do we took off for our favorite indoor play place - the Bounce. And to celebrate the moment I climbed the ladder for the big slide and came down all by myself for the first time ever!

Half way up the ladder.

At the top of the ladder.

"Are you watching Daddy?"

Time for a water break.

"Can't you climb any faster? I want to go down the slide again!"

It's hard to believe that I used to cry unless Mommy or Daddy climbed up the slide with me - not anymore! I keep telling my parents I'm a big girl now - maybe they will take this as proof.

Peace, love & the big kid slide,
Bailey
